Not every project we take on is about commercial growth. We genuinely enjoy using our expertise to support people, organizations and initiatives that are making a positive impact in their community. That's why we regularly support local events, athletes, including kickboxers and motocross riders, and charity initiatives such as JA Foundation.
One of those projects was Kastelendorp Live, a local tribute event where well-known tribute bands come together for an evening of live music. The event takes place in a small village, where organizing and promoting an event of this scale can be challenging. A strong line-up alone isn't enough. People need to know the event exists, be excited about attending and, ultimately, buy a ticket.
We decided to sponsor the event and support the team of volunteers with something we know well: marketing. Rather than simply contributing financially, we wanted to make our expertise available to the people organizing the event and help them build a professional foundation around it.
Making a Local Event Impossible to Miss
The first step was creating a simple but fast website where visitors could easily find all the important information about Kastelendorp Live and purchase tickets through a connected ticketing system.
From there, we supported the complete marketing process. This included designing the visual materials, copywriting, creating advertisements and managing the campaigns used to promote the event.
The goal wasn't to build an unnecessarily complicated marketing machine. For a local event run largely by volunteers, everything needed to be practical, fast and effective. People had to be able to discover the event, understand what they could expect and move from seeing the event to purchasing a ticket with as little friction as possible.
We therefore combined clear communication with targeted advertising and a consistent visual identity across the different marketing channels. This gave the event a professional presence while allowing the team to focus on what they do best: organizing the event itself.
Marketing With a Purpose
For us, projects like Kastelendorp Live are about more than marketing performance. As a marketing agency, we have skills and knowledge that can be valuable to organizations and initiatives that don't necessarily have the resources to hire a full marketing team.
By sponsoring the event and contributing our expertise, we turned the work of a group of passionate volunteers into something that reached a much larger audience.
The fact that we've now helped successfully sell out two editions of Kastelendorp Live makes the collaboration especially rewarding. It shows that professional marketing expertise can make a meaningful difference, even for a local event.

Two Sold-Out Editions
Through our sponsorship and marketing support, Kastelendorp Live has successfully sold out two editions.
But the biggest result for us is being able to contribute to something outside of our own business. We believe that expertise doesn't always have to be used to generate commercial returns. Sometimes it can be used to help passionate people bring their ideas to life.
That's why we remain open to sponsoring local events, athletes, charity initiatives and other projects where our expertise can make a difference.
We build businesses with marketing. But whenever we can, we also want to use what we've learned to give something back to the world.
